Iacono Discusses Pandemic Impact to Office Sector in WSJ

Once seen as a safe haven for investors, commercial office buildings now have an uncertain future as we continue to monitor ripple effects to the commercial real estate sector as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. CEO Joseph Iacono recently discussed the topic with the Wall Street Journal:

“You would think that the office market should be somewhat insulated. You’ve got long-term leases,” said Joseph Iacono, CEO of alternative financing platform Crescit Capital Strategies. “But look, you have a lot of small companies that occupy buildings. Business is shut. If they’re not generating any revenues they can’t pay any rent.”
